Everything Mario for the Nintendo Wii.

Sonic Unleashed coming to a Wii near you!

Not exactly Mario related, but since Sonic made an appearance in the recent Super Smash Bros. Brawl release, I figured some of our readers would be interested in this.

Turns out, Sonic is going to be one of the big titles of Holiday Season 08, with the upcoming release of Sonic Unleashed for the Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360, Playstation 3 & 2.  We couldn’t be happier after SEGA made an announcement this morning confirming that Sonic Unleashed would feature 2.5D gameplay mechanics that bring the series back to the platforming days, with a nice mix of next-gen gaming thrown in.

…Fans will be treated to an array of new, exciting and unique next generation features to heighten their experience. It’s going to be an awesome year!

Over 10+ Hours of SSBB Gameplay Videos

More and more people are grabbing copies of imported Super Smash Bros. Brawl games for their JP Wii’s. KylianXelKythe from YouTube claims that he has managed to already upload over 10 hours of gameplay footage from matches he has played.

Visit his YouTube account for a LOT more.

Looks like he has already found some of the unlockable ssbb characters based on the footage.

Gosh, I can’t wait to get my hands on this game.

Unlock Every Hidden Character in SSBB

SSBBBefore we begin, we’d like to give fair warning that you may want to look away if you’re trying to keep SSBB a complete surprise for yourself. Actually, you probably want to stay off this site altogether since we’re fixing to publish all of our complete guides for unlocking everything in the game.

You’ve been warned.

Seriously. Last chance.

Anyways, now that we got rid of all the spoiler free folks, I’d like to announce that we’ve put up our guides for unlocking every single hidden character in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Here is a quick list of all the unlockable characters (clicking on one will show you how to unlock them).

Feel free to bookmark this for later… or if you see anything we missed, please let us know!

Will SSBB get leaked in the US?

SSBBWith Super Smash Bros. Brawl less than a month away from its US release date (March 9th), several concerns are raised in regards to keeping the game surprising for the general public. Fear that sales might drop, secrets may be discovered too quickly, or even worse… the ending could be spoiled for thousands of gamers.

For some of the more intense gamers though, the real fear is the possibility of not knowing EVERY tiny detail about the game prior to its release.

Such has been the case for countless games before SSBB. It happened to Halo 3 last year when players discovered all the unlockable “Skulls” in the game days before release. It also happened to Super Mario Galaxy when SOME WISE GUY decided to publish all of the hidden star locations before the actual release.

So, will the English version of SSBB be leaked prior to March 9th? It’s highly likely considering what history has taught us about huge releases in the past.

Some Japanese version have already found their way to eBay, where some US players have managed to snag a few copies of their own. Granted, these copies are in Japanese, and require a JP Wii system, but it’s not hard to believe that we’ll see a few gamers grabbing US versions sooner or later.

“Still Alive” in Mario Paint

Fans of “Portal” ought to enjoy this one. The ending credits song from Portal, “Still Alive” have made a huge impact all over the interwebs, being redone in countless manners. Now it looks like someones gone and remade the theme song in Mario Paint!

And there is even a link to a downloadable mp3 version of it.

You know what? The Wii needs a remake of Mario Paint. That was a real, classic game. One that I wasted a lot of my childhood on.

Mario Kart Wii Info. starts to surface

Mario Kart Wii

There has been a lot of talk about Mario Kart Wii as of late, despite the fact that we’re still waiting for the US release of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. We already know the Japan release date to be sometime in Mid-April of 2008, but now we’re starting to hear rumors that the game will hit shelves overseas by mid-March.

Nothing definitive on the dates quite yet, but many other details have been confirmed. We’ve set up a Mario Kart Wii information page with some of the latest details for those of us who just can’t wait!

SSBB Complete Roster Leaked

SSBBThe complete roster for Super Smash Brothers Brawl has been leaked onto the internet with the game being on the market in Japan now. Although the Japanese version of the game is not playable on Wii systems around here, a few people have managed to snag copies of the game, and a JP Wii to test things out.

I won’t spoil things right on the front page, but if you’re interested in seeing the complete roster (including all of the hidden characters), check out the pictures below:

Buy Super Mario Galaxy Today!

Today’s the big day!  Super Mario Galaxy hits the shelves this morning, bringing back everything we’ve missed about Mario since Mario 64 (plus a whole lot more)!

We’re still working on our 120 Star Guide, but already have multiple guides for the hidden green stars, and the hidden red star online.  Remember, you’ll only need 60 stars in order to beat the game ;)

However, if you’re looking to play as Luigi, you’ll need to find all 120 (not likely on day one, as it’s a pretty long game).

Play as Luigi in Super Mario Galaxy

The headline is correct, you can play as Luigi in Super Mario Galaxy!

It requires you to beat the entire game… and we do mean entire…  You’ll have to snag all 120 stars on top of beating the triple staged Final Bowser Boss.  This is not a simple task, but certainly worth doing… if only for replay value!
